Nice art; terrible design.
Spikes blend in with environment art too much. Chosen aspect ratio isn't that great for most screens and could be reduced. Needs minions to practice on before jumping straight into a 'boss' fight. A boss on a tutorial level isn't a great idea either unless you plan to use it in a story. Also, needs some story IN GAME or world exploration to give more depth for players to latch onto.
It's a good starting point but it needs a lot of work and development. Keep working on it.
awsome
i'm a big fan of puzzle games and this is a really good one. I've just zoned out into lala land with trying to get the game down. good work.
I love that you snuck the Knight Rider theme song in there.
Dude the genre and tags are doing this song a disservice. This is def a similar style to smash mouths walking on the sun and that's an indie/pop rock song with ska influence. I know people are looking for this kinda genre music but they're not gonna find where you have it listed.
thank you very much, this is actually great feedback. i generally suck really bad at classifying my own music/using tags so this is helpful to hear
That little Rick Astley "Never gonna give you up" drum thing at the beginning kills me every time. Very earworm addictive song.
Love the timelapse... idk if it's just the file size but it takes a long time to load before you see anything. I think you could halve the frames/file and not lose much wip for viewers to see.
I've already lowered the size and framerate just enough to fit with the site's limitations, but I'll consider lowering it even more If I'll record timelapse again.. Thank you!
Classic wizard game! Sound track is a banger. Sad I never got a chance to play the sequel Equinox.
Characters are blending into the background colors. There's a couple solutions to this. One, you add an outline to the characters. Two, you ramp up the ambient occlusion so that the saturation or hue is shifted away from the same levels of the characters.
Just updated the contrast. Thank you.
Same asshole, different year!
