Love the timelapse... idk if it's just the file size but it takes a long time to load before you see anything. I think you could halve the frames/file and not lose much wip for viewers to see.

AzurraMysteria responds:

I've already lowered the size and framerate just enough to fit with the site's limitations, but I'll consider lowering it even more If I'll record timelapse again.. Thank you!

Classic wizard game! Sound track is a banger. Sad I never got a chance to play the sequel Equinox.

Characters are blending into the background colors. There's a couple solutions to this. One, you add an outline to the characters. Two, you ramp up the ambient occlusion so that the saturation or hue is shifted away from the same levels of the characters.

Cardbordtoaster responds:

Just updated the contrast. Thank you.

Jamming crayons in along to the sound of Snake Eater playing.

Really enjoying the flow/movement of your work! The emotional projection is great and your anatomy is on point without feeling stiff or clunky.

If I had to critique one thing on this, it would be the desire for a more developed/defined background with more contrast and a better definition on the floor to guide the eye.

Ehmbe responds:

Woah thank you so much for the critique!Yes i need to work on backgrounds alot more. Its a huge hole in my stuff.

I really enjoy this work!

The expression and details used on the face contrasts well with the cartoony swirl on the pomp. Keeping the BG simple also doesn't pull the eye away from the focus point.

If I could offer some critique, the left shoulder seems a bit low but that could be due to the illusion created from the overly thick collar.

Great work! I look forward to seeing more~

UNF!

Now that is some sexy work there! the hard light and covered eyes... this has a lot of emotion and speaking value. Can't wait to see more from you!

I love

the coloring on the characters themselves... Yet the body positions and anatomy seems terrible awkward... I think if you focus on that for a while and practice, you'll get more of the result you are looking for. You have so much potential I really do hope to see more from you!

I like

this style! It's a very nice change of pace from your usual work. I have to ask if it was perhaps inspired from playing madworld?

Laufman responds:

This piece was inspired by Frank Miller. I really like to experiment with different styles. Keeps me on my toes:)

Same asshole, different year!
